Leisure Time of Secondary School Youth in Karlovy Vary

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out how high school youth in Karlovy Vary spend their leisure time and to make a contribution to the improvement in spending their leisure time. Leisure time is an indispensable part of youth's life. Next reason for this thesis is to improve communication and cooperation between teachers and pupils. The research took place in Karlovy Vary at four high schools with various specialization. Theoretical part is focused on leisure time and it's functions, forms, history and institutions. In practical part there are data collected for the research realization. Then the hypothesis determinated at the beginning of the thesis is evaluated. The thesis as a whole is evaluated in the conclusion and suggestions are presented how to improve the way young people spend their leisure time. The work deals with the leisure time of the secondary school youth. First charter defines the adolescence, especially the identity and the socialization. Below defines the leisure time. Third charter describes leisure time of the secondary school youth. Most frequent pastime activities and interests the secondary school youth mention in this charter and below their dreaming pastime activities.
